Scope of the publication
ScannerAPI.com publishes technical explanations and proposed workflows for scanning systems. Articles are intended to help readers ask better implementation and review questions. They are not product certifications, independent laboratory results, or demonstrations that a particular system is secure.
Primary references
Each field note links to one primary editorial reference directly relevant to its topic. The source library brings those references together. We prefer original project documentation, standards, and guidance from the organizations responsible for the material. A source link supports the stated facts; it does not imply endorsement of ScannerAPI.com.
Facts and suggested designs
Documented behavior is attributed to the relevant tool or source. Proposed result envelopes, state names, review processes, and test plans are presented as design suggestions. Readers should compare them with the actual provider contract and the constraints of their own authorized environment.
Evidence and limitations
The publication distinguishes a detection from a policy decision, a failed inspection from no detection, and a visual or metadata observation from a stronger claim about origin or authenticity. Confidence scores are not described as probabilities without supporting evaluation. Examples use controlled or illustrative data rather than claims about customer results.
