Terms of use.
Use the reference library with clear scope, permission, and context.
Purpose of the site
ScannerAPI.com is a technical reading and reference library. It does not provide a hosted scanner, execute tests against third-party systems, accept uploaded files, or provision API credentials. Integration examples are proposed patterns to adapt and evaluate, not operational service endpoints.
Authorized use of scanning tools
Apply the guides only in environments where you have permission to perform the relevant activity. Public availability of an API or repository is not, by itself, authorization for security testing. Confirm scope, data-handling permission, and operating limits with the responsible owner before using active inspection tools.
Interpreting technical material
Choose implementation details from the actual service or tool documentation. Supported formats, configuration options, credentials, quotas, and data-sharing arrangements belong to the selected provider. A suggested workflow on this website does not create those capabilities or establish that your deployment meets a particular requirement.
Examples and references
Examples use illustrative data and describe defensive review patterns. Source links point to independently maintained documentation. Names of projects and organizations identify the references being discussed and do not imply a partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement of ScannerAPI.com.
Publication and reuse questions
Use the site’s links when referring readers to an article. Contact [email protected] for republication or other content-use questions. Rights and permission questions about material on external websites should be directed to the relevant rights holder.
Corrections and contact
The editorial policy explains how to report a factual issue. Use the contact page for general questions about the library. Do not send live malware, confidential source code, or usable credentials in correspondence.
